You walk into another glade. Inness grins. "This is the glade for my aarkinik! I hope to get at least two, if not more. I wish to foster some abandonlings. Aarkiniks are so wonderful and unique!"
Sign reads:
RESERVED FOR AARKINIK
You walk in a little later and you're surprised to find the sign taken down. ~OH~ you think ~maybe that means she got an aarkinik!~ Inness walks up behind you. "YEP!" she yells cheerfully, and you cry out in surprise. "Yes, I did get an aarkinik. I got two! One is a female called Bres, and the other is a male called Wush. His name once was 'wh', but I changed it. Here are their signs, and then you can meet them."
Inness points to two large signs:

You hear a sweet trilling noise, and peer through a bush to see a cute and lovely blue creature, with opalescent eyes, sitting next to a waterfall and singing. "That's Bres. She has quite a talent for singing."
You hear the crash of another aarkinik running through the glade. Then you see him. Wush. Brightly red- and teal-colored blur. He cannonballs into the water with a whuffling sound, and splashes Inness, Bres, and you. Wush and Bres then come up to you, and lead you to a collection of rainbow beetle shells. They seem to be their toys. You sit down obligingly to play with them, sending the two aarkiniks into ecstasies of joy.
